Using Find New Partners Wizard you can find existing and potential partners and add them to the Main Project Table.
On the first step of the Wizard you can choose one of three available options for partners search:
- Find web-sites linked to your competitors web-sites. This option allows finding sites which have links to your competitors web-sites, hence relevant to the topic of your site.
- Find web-sites links on SE by keyword. You can find relevant web-sites by keywords, which describe the topic of your site and offer them SmartLinkSoft exchange.
- Find web-sites that already have link to your site. The program will find sites, linking to yours using search engines, which will enable you to sustain and develop partner relations with them.
If you choose the first option (Find web-sites linked to your competitors web-sites), on the second step of the Wizard you will have to set the competitor URL (start page) and select search engine(s) using which the program will search sites, linking to your competitor:
When choosing the second option of partner search (Find web-sites links on SE by keyword), on the second step of the wizard you will have to specify a keyword by which the search will be performed. If you select the third option (Find web-sites that already have link to your site), you will have to specify only search engines for the search of your existing partners, already linking to your site.
On the third step you can set filters for partners search. Thus, you can set the maximum number of search results to be analyzed by the program. Also, set the maximum number of parallel HTTP connections, which will be used for downloading results. In the Search filters window you can set the following restrictions for partners search:
- Contents - you can exclude sites from the search results by content. Enter the words or phrases, on finding which the program will automatically ignore the site.
- Extensions and Domains - select global and countries' Top Level Domains to be ignored
- URL - enter the URLs to be ignored
You can set the program to assign every site it finds a status. For example, if you searching for new partners using the third option (Find sites that already have link to your site), you can assign them status Web site links back, etc.
If you are searching for new partners by keywords you may assign every site found a category. For example, if you are running a news site you may be looking for "news" sites on SE. Hence, you may assign them "Media" category.
On the fourth step the program downloads the search results into its database.
On the fifth step you can select links to be added into the project by flagging the sites to be added. To select all sites, found on a search engine, select the search engine check box. To add all sites found on search engines click  Select all. To clear selection click  Unselect all.
After you have selected all desired sites click  Extract. The program will analyze the content of all pages found and extract their titles and descriptions, after which you can press Finish - all links will be added to the project.
